What is a Holistic Practitioner

HOLISTIC PRACTICE, WELCOME TO THE HUB!

Holistic Law can be described as a form of a healing profession because we consider several aspects in order to resolve a dispute which is originally of a legal nature.

For the majority of the lawyers it is an approach whereby the focus is on the person as a whole and the dilemma is considered in the full context. All this goes beyond merely looking in depth at the opinion of the other party. By looking at what goes on behind it, and by calling attention to the underlying problems, you will reach a more complete solution, a sustainable solution for the legal conflicts at issue.

Furthermore, attention is devoted to the role you bring as a professional. Reflection on your own behaviour, your filter and ideas are important factors determining in what way you are going to counsel and facilitate the person in question. Becoming aware is an important step in this respect, which also applies for the client who will become aware of his share in the conflict.

In the training attention will be devoted to the origin of the holistic ideas, the integrative law movement and the manner in which we as professionals will be able to contribute. Holistic Law is not a specific method, it is an umbrella term for different techniques which are applied already by many lawyers, albeit unconsciously. The connecting thread is that all these professionals conduct peace-law. The driving force is working together and solving problems in a peace-loving manner. So, it starts with a certain state of mind: a fundamentally positive attitude, the dot on the horizon and the realization that only by working together the best of two worlds can be achieved.

Holistic Education is a form of acquiring knowledge whereby subjects are supplied which are all related to the subject matter, together they constitute a whole. In the training of the HUB HP (Holistic Practice), we will therefore make use of various disciplines which together form a whole.

the highest function of education is to bring
an
integrated individual who is
capable of dealing with life
as a whole

The objective is to inspire everyone to start pursuing his or her practice in such a way that he/she uses the supplied instruments aimed at guiding and facilitating the clients, but also aimed at harmony in one’s own body and life. Familylaw practice is notorious for its negative vibes which people bring along in conflicts and often take out on the professional concerned. In order to be able to function properly, there is more work to be done in respect of one’s own position.
